Movie, Pizza and Love

If you ever run into my hubby and me, we are either laughing or bickering like an old married couple.  The funny thing is, we are (only) at the heels of celebrating our two-year wedding anniversary (insert happy music).

It's no secret that we are (some-what) of an odd couple in the sense that we don't share many of the same interests.  But there's a few major interests that seem to work like magic for us: shopping, traveling, cooking, Chatito, music and movie watching.  (Now that I type-out that list, I realize we really do have a lot of interests in common :) )

Watching a Super Hero movie with lots of fantastical special effects, and story-lines that let you unwind after a long day at work, while opting to cook a pizza seems to make us happy. (Silly and geeky seems to go hand-in-hand when describing us)

Don't ask me how or why, but it works.  Staying in and cuddling under the blankets with our furry baby Chatito, watching a fun movie, and eating home baked pizza and creates a loving home environment every-single-time.

We are also odd when it comes to our shopping habits.  Sometimes we don't want to step foot in a mall, other times we can't get there fast enough - like the day that Marvel's The Avengers on Blu-Ray/DVD was released!

Now, let me honest about our shopping habits: If there's something fun to do while shopping, we embrace it whole-heartily.  Yes, really!  So when we found out there was an Avenger Augmented Reality App (Super Hero AR), you know my hubby and me were totally using it the entire time. (I did mention that we were geeks, right?!)

Once we were at Walmart, we decided to buy a pizza to bake at home.  Now, being card-carrying foodies, buying frozen pizza is usually not an option.  But then we discovered fresh and ready to bake at home MarketSide pizza.  Before I did a quick search online to read the reviews, hubby realized that each pizza box had a Marvel super hero on the front of the box!  Doesn't seem like a big deal, but when you are also a geeky foodie couple, you just can't resist!

From Spiderman to my hubbys favorite Marvel Superhero "The Incredible Hulk," MarketSide pizza did an incredible job of making the pizza appealing the the foodie geeks in us!

Once we got home, it didn't take too long for my hubby to open up both the The Avengers Blu-Ray/DVD/Graphic Novel Combo Pack and MarketSide Pizza; and in less than 30 minutes, we had warm pizza, and a great movie to watch - again!
